GEA Denco precision climate-control systems satisfy the more stringent specifications in computer centres and telecommunications facilities. They make a valuable contribution to reliable operations and uninterrupted availability of IT systems. All climate-control systems in the Denco portfolio satisfy temperature requirements, maintain at the same time constant humidity levels in rooms, and thereby prevent heat-related malfunctions and premature aging of hardware. But it’s not only for IT that GEA Denco provides valuable services. In laboratories and chip production as well – and in nanotechnology and in medical facilities – the exact maintenance of specified air parameters and particularly good air quality are of extremely great importance.

 

HVAC Systems manufactures air treatment systems, supports these facilities while they are in service, guides planners in project engineering to obtain optimal climate control and air routing, and tests its products in its own laboratories and measurement centres under realistic conditions. GEA technicians check the performance capability of the equipment, simulate and verify the air flow at the installation site, and measure the sound power level – in addition to much more. As a result, our customers always receive a technologically mature and tested product that, moreover, has been manufactured in accordance with DIN ISO 9001.

Designed for small rooms and retrofits
Units in the MS Range are available in 2 versions, for cooling capacity between 5 and 14 kW.
 
The MS-Range units in box-design will be generally used in small areas with no raised floor, lack of floor space and sometimes when room height is low. These full function units with humidity control in Split-DX- or chilled water version, could be used typically for small server rooms, switch cabin controls or machine rooms. Options like heaters, humidifier, BMS-interfaces, base stands and lots more for flexible but precise requirements gives the MS-Range the opportunity the be a real efficient alternative to conventional split solutions.

Designed for equipment and process air conditioning in industrial applications
Units in the E-Range are as well as the T-Range offered in 5 models, for cooling capacities between 20 and 120 kW.
The external optical impression of the E-Range is very similar to that of the T-Range. The E-Range, however, has a depth of only 800 mm and is therefore considerably narrower and more space-saving than its sister range. The units in the E-Range are equipped with autonomous fans driven by V-belts. The fans are coordinated by systematic design of their pulleys to match the required operating points. After selection of the high-static option (HS), the belt-driven fans are replaced by stronger, directly driven fans – which achieves external pressures of 800 Pa. As a result, the E-Range HS enables additional external, high-efficiency filter sections, which qualify operations for use in application areas such as clean rooms, laboratories, and testing facilities.
In addition, the Combicool function is available to the entire E-Range and includes an additional, redundant cold-water circulation system. This circulation system serves to assure enhanced flexibility in cooling, greater security against failure, and coverage of peak loads.

Five variants:
Version A:  Direct-evaporation system in the internal unit, with external condenser 
Version X: Direct evaporator in the internal unit, with external condensing unit 
Version W: Direct-evaporation system in the internal unit, with internal water-cooled condenser 
Version F:  Energy-efficient direct-evaporation unit in the internal unit, with internal water-cooled condenser and additional free-cooling bank for great energy-savings potential 
Version C:  Cold-water bank in the internal unit for connection to a cold-water network 
 
Designed for applications in computer centres and server rooms
Models in the T-Range are available in 5 versions, for cooling capacities between 5 and 136 kW. They are also provided with the environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant. Features of the GEA Denco T-Range.
The GEA Denco direct-expansion systems from the T-Range are compact and are available with various return-cooling systems: air cooled, water cooled, and split versions. Fully hermetic scroll compressors (tandem compressor technology) operate inside the units; they are also optionally available in tandem version for energy-efficient VRF application. The air routing of the units can be either up-flow or down-flow. The models can be outfitted with various supply-air and extracted-air configurations. The units are controlled by intelligent microprocessor-controlled software that assures maintenance of ultra-close tolerances for temperature and relative humidity. The software also allows energy-saving operations. With support from the closed-loop control system, it is possible to network the equipment for master-slave operations, to operate them as stand-alone units, or to switch them on as standby systems in automatic change-over mode. Data entry takes place via a matching soft-touch keypad, which is either mounted with the display on the climate-control unit, or is used as a remote-control system. The heat exchangers are designed for maximum heat-exchange area, minimum pressure drop, and quiet operation.
In addition, the Combicool function is available to the entire range. Combicool contains an additional, redundant cold-water circulation system. This circulation system serves to assure enhanced flexibility in cooling, greater security against failure, and coverage of peak loads. A great selection of accessories and options rounds off the entire portfolio with the following:  installation frames, shutter flaps, a selection of sensors, fresh-air connections, and many functions.
The TW-Range: units in weatherproof versions 
The weatherproof models of the T-Range are installed in water and dust-proof enclosures with high-quality synthetic coating on metal surfaces. This solutions means that they effectively resist the worst of storm and rain and can be easily installed on outdoor walls. The climate-control units of the TW-Range have cooling capacity of 3 to 42 kW. The units are splashproof in accordance with IP54.
