EFFECT ON ENVIRONMENT |
|
| Foam and Water | Human protection necessary when used in fixed systems. | May be corrosive due to large water concentration Residue is harmful to delicate electronics |
Residue can be difficult to dispose of and foam can be poisonous |
| Water | Generally not dangerous to humans when fighting fire | Can cause extensive damage to property |
Can release harmful fumes and substances on extinguishment |
| CO2 | Highly dangerous to humans in fire fighting concentrations. |
Cooling effect causes condensation mist harmful to electronics |
In general more CO2 is released from other sources |
| Inert gases |
May lead to inadequate oxygen supply to the brain when used alone |
No damage caused | Naturally occurring components that do not pose a threat |
| Halon | Can be used in human presence but has been banned. |
No damage caused | Harmful to the environment |
| Can be used in human presence in designed concentration and with proper precautions |
No damage caused | Friendly to environment It is ozone friendly It is a Green Product |
The attempt to take the necessary actions to protect human health and the environment against adverse effects resulting or likely to result from human activities which can modify the ozone layer has led to:
The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer as adjusted and/or amended in London 1990 - Copenhagen 1992 - Vienna 1995 - Montreal 1997 - Beijing 1999

Health problems associated with low concentrations of oxygen in the ambient air, can generally be summarised as:
* 16% can lead to impaired judgment and breathing
* 14% can lead to faulty judgement and rapid fatigue
* 6% can lead to breathing difficulties and be fatal in minutes
It must however be understood that the above conditions are dependent on the length of exposure time.

.: FirePro® Fire Extinguishing Aerosol Systems :.
Our company is a distributor of FirePro® Fire Extinguishing Aerosol System products in Indonesia. Our company also participate in the prevention and mitigation of fire hazard by promoting sales of FirePro® Fire Extinguishing Aerosol System product.
Some aspects that are owned by FirePro® products include the following:
1. USEFULNESS OF FirePro®
FirePro® Fire Extinguishing Aerosol System Product is a tool to extinguish the fire, the content of FirePro® is aerosol material ingredients, it consists of Potassium Nitrate, Potassium Carbonate, Magnesium and Polymer Epoxy Resins.
HOW FirePro® GENERATOR UNIT WORKS / ACTIVATION METHOD
Mechanism or the way of FirePro® works is like the following, if thermocord (axis), stung by a fire then materials contained in the aerosol generator unit will discharge or spray fire in a matter of a few seconds a fire can be extinguished. Electrical wires can also be connected to Power Supply 6-36V DC and can also be connected to the fire alarm control panel, which is to control the location of the fire generator units installed.
